Cavimax has been present in the wire and cable industry for several years.
The company was founded in 1996 as an individual company within the Gimax Group that was to specialise in the handling of conductor wire and finished cables. At the start, the machinery ranged from specific respoolers and coilers for conductor, magnet wire and finished cables to vertical and horizontal taping machinery.
However the main market segment that saw a rapid growth for the company was the taping of conductor wire, in particular vertical taping lines where Cavimax soon became one of the leading companies supplying this type of equipment.

Cavimax developed its taping lines very rapidly and now has perhaps the most sophisticated vertical taping lines on the market, using advanced electronics to control the taping process in order to ensure the highest quality in the finished product.
Cavimax has supplied its taping lines and dedicated coiling equipment to leading cable manufacturers worldwide.
