DRAWBENCH

The wire drawing process generates significant heat.

This heat affects the lubricants’ ability to ensure quality wire production.

Drawbench

The amount of generated heat is influenced by an interaction of factors that include the metal composition, surface preparation, and production equipment.

Some of the top features of this machine are the high degree of efficiency in cooling, as well as the perfect alignment of the wire between the capstan and the die-box.

The TRD range of dry drawing machinery can be supplied with capstans fitted vertically or horizontally and the latter can be either normal or tilted.

The initial input diameter of the wire can be as large as 10mm, and the machinery can reduce wire down to 0,5mm, all this depending on the many different wire types or alloys that this line can handle. All the dry drawing benches are manufactured using the most up-to-date technology to meet current industrial standards, which includes independently driven capstans, motorized and synchronized by means of a dancer or sensor arm, guaranteeing the highest quality in the process of wire reduction.

  • Possibility of bypassing any of the blocks.

  • Low maintenance.

  • Vertically or horizontally mounted capstans.

  • Regenerative inverter & high efficiency motors for energy saving.

  • Gimax Industry 4.0

  • Siemens integrated control system with profinet communication protocol.

  • Possibility of tilted horizontal capstans.

  • Speed control with dancer or sensor arm.

  • Rotating or fixed dies.
